Membership Process
Welcome to Washington International Club continues to grow and is always looking for new US and international women of all ages. All applicants require one sponsor. The sponsor helps new members become familiar with the Club and mentors and engages them. Please indicate on your application if you require a sponsor.
The Board of Directors considers applicants for membership four times a year. Applicant and sponsor forms received before the following dates are considered at the following Board meetings:
- August 15 (Board meets late August)
- October 15 (Board meets late October)
- January 15 (Board meets late January)
- March 15 (Board meets late March)
After approval by the Board, applicants must attend a New Member Orientation and pay dues to activate membership. Currently, attendance in person at a New Member Orientation and certain Club events require proof of vaccination. If you are not vaccinated, you may be able to attend an orientation via Zoom by special arrangement. Please review our Club Covid Guidelines.
